Libya: why not re-opening the Nuremberg Trial for Gaddafi?

A propos, you know what? Some "crimes against humanity" might have been committed in Libya by Gaddafi.

But what sort of nonsense are you talking? "Crimes against humanity in Libya"? You mean in Gaza, or in the Ivory Coast, or in Irak during two big wars conducted by the Bush (father and son)?

What do you think? I am just repeating what Mr Moreno-Ocampo said...

The good news is that "the world is united" on reacting faster to serious crimes, says the chief prosecutor at the International Criminal Court in The Hague. Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, Luis Moreno Ocampo said he has opened a formal investigation into alleged crimes against humanity in Libya.

The investigation into possible crimes committed by security forces against peaceful demonstrators comes just days after the UN Security Council's landmark unanimous decision on Saturday, to refer the situation in Libya to the ICC.

Speaking to a room packed with journalists and cameras from around the world, Ocampo said his office had identified "some individuals" including Muammar Gaddafi, members of his family and inner circle and officials, who could be held responsible for the "most serious incidents and crimes".

Suspects put on notice

Without mentioning names, the prosecutor said members of Gaddafi's inner circle could be considered as having de facto responsibility, while those with formal responsibility would include the Minister for Foreign Affairs, the head of security and military intelligence and the head of the Libyan external security organisation.

These people will now be "put on notice" that they could be held "criminally responsible" for crimes committed by their subordinates, said Ocampo. He added that those who are in a position to prevent crimes but fail to do so could also face investigation.

New situation Ocampo promised there would be "no impunity in Libya" and pledged to be impartial. He said his office had information that some opposition groups in Libya had weapons and that if they have committed crimes, they too would be investigated. The chief prosecutor said his office had been collecting information from sources inside Libya since Sunday and the next step is to present the case to ICC judges, who could decide to issue arrest warrants in a few months.

As the ICC has no police force of its own, prosecution investigators in Libya will rely on support from the Arab League and the African Union to carry out their work on the ground. Only two weeks after the start of the uprising in Libya, the world is united in its commitment to prevent serious crimes, Ocampo said. He added that, "today we have a new situation, where no one can get away with attacking civilians". From his podium, the world's first chief prosecutor told the world's media - "the world is changing - and serious crimes are now everybody's business".

Let's come back to the statement of Mr Moreno-Ocampo :

Resolution 1970 rejected “unequivocally the incitement to hostility and violence against the civilian population made from the highest level of the Libyan government,” and considered “that the widespread and  systematic attacks currently taking place in the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya against the civilian population may amount to crimes against humanity.”

The evidence collected establishes reasonable grounds to believe that widespread and systematic attacks against the civilian population have been and continue to becommitted in Libya, including murder and persecution as crimes against humanity. Additionally and since the end of February, there has been an armed conflict in Libya. In this context, there is also relevant information on the alleged commission of warcrimes. The work of the Commission of Inquiry will be crucial to fully understand thearmed conflict.

(8.) Let me start describing the incidents of crimes against humanity that the Office investigated. The evidence shows that security forces have been systematically shooting at peaceful protesters, following the same modus operandi in multiple locations. The evidence shows that events in neighboring Egypt and Tunisia prompted Libyan security forces to begin preparations for the possibility of demonstrations in Libya. As early as January, mercenaries were being hired and brought into Libya.

(11.) Additionally, information collected by the Office shows that civilians in Tripoli and other areas under the control of the regime are reportedly subject to different forms of persecution. Systematic arrests, torture, killings and enforced disappearances have been reported in Tripoli, Al Zawiyah, Zintan and the area of the Nafousa Mountains. The victims are civilians who participated in demonstrations, are considered disloyal to the regime or talked to international media, activists and journalists. In addition citizens of Egypt and Tunisia were arrested and expelled en masse because of their perceived association with the popular uprising. The mosques they used to pray were destroyed

"The evidence collected establishes reasonable grounds to believe that...".

Isn't that funny? Mister Prosecutor has just got reasonable grounds to believe that... Don't you think that a trial for  "crimes against humanity" should demand more   consistent incriminating evidences... and more time (!!!!) for serious investigation?

That means that the ICC prosecutor hasn't got any actual proof of what he is asserting. Anyway, that doesn't prevent him from such lies as this:

"The evidence shows that security forces have been systematically shooting at peaceful protesters".

Peaceful protesters as those shown by all journalists and TV networks reporting from Libya...

According to that flunkey named Moreno-Ocampo, there were no insurgents with arms in Libya, just civilians persecuted by the Kadhafi forces. My word! Mr Ocampo is taking the piss!

But let's speak frankly: given the bloody mess in which they are involved in Libya, and the probable international humiliation threatening them, did the members of the UNATO Syndicate have any choice?

Another lie? This one:

"The mosques they used to pray were destroyed."

Did anybody see a single report on mosques destroyed by the Libyan army?

(12.) There is relevant information concerning the alleged commission of rape. Victims of rape have reportedly been arrested and subject to harassment. In one high-profile case a woman gave a report...

Is Mr Ocampo explaining to us that the whole Libyan army  have just raped ONE (single) woman?

(13.) Several sources have also reported the unlawful arrest, mistreatment and killings of sub-Saharan African civilians wrongly perceived to be mercenaries. Reportedlyangry mobs of protesters assaulted Sub-Saharan Africans in Benghazi and other cities and killed dozens of themThe new authorities in Benghazi allegedly arrested a number of Sub-Saharan Africans and it is unclear whether they were innocent immigrant workers or combatantsturned prisoners of war.

You should notice that Mr Ocampo doesn't care about whether the black-skinned people had weapons or not !!!!!! Therefore he doesn't seem to be aware of the fact that the big difference between a civilian and a combatant is the eventual presence of gun(s) used by the latter!

So is Mr Ocampo quite sure that Kadhafi forces fired on peaceful civilians, but as for the people killed by the rebels of Benghazi, not the leaders are responsible for the killings but just some angry mob of protesters, the authorities of Benghazi being just responsible for having arrested "a number..." ! "A NUMBER!" Poor Mister Prosecutor! Hey Ocampo: stop playing video games!

More: it is clear that for the rebels of Benghazi killing "innocent workers" is forbidden, not killing "combatants"! For the Libyan army there are no combatants in front of them, just civilians. The fact is that Moreno-Ocampo has no evidence of the presence of combatants firing with guns on the Libyan military!

As for Ms. Susan Rice, one of the inspirators of the invasion of Libya, and who apparently should have inherited some chromosomes from African ancestors - just like the other Rice: Condeleeza -, I suppose that she would have never heard of any anti-negroes pogrom in Eastern Libya. Let's call it selective amnesia

Those behaviors are typical of flunkeies and of so-called "Bounty Negroes" (black outside but white inside).

But that is not even the most serious issue. Because seeing those puppets - the same ones who are shutting their eyes to what is occurring in Syria, Yemen, Bahrain…, or in Palestine! - handling concepts as “crime against humanity”, just shows us how abyssal is the lack of historical culture of those poor bureaucrats. Since it was clear that it would be difficult for the UNATO Syndicate to remove the Libyan regime within a few days, contrary to what some idiots previously thought, it was clear that they would have nothing more to do but manipulating the international law as if Kadhafi would have been a new Hitler. How ridiculous!

Having said that, that is Mr Moreno-Ocampo's responsibility to make a fool of himself - what a positive thing! - and of his organisation, as far as he is just confirming something that we knew about: the biased and criminal character of the operation arisen from Resolution 1973, what can only lead to the total depreciation of the UN Syndicate. After what, not aligned countries, particularly the Africans would have nothing else to do but to withdraw from an organization which demonstrates every day how useless it is!

Anyway, that incited me to go and get some interesting archives mostly extracted from files belonging to the incriminating evidences of the Nuremberg trial (1946).

You know what? I am quite sure that neither Mr Moreno-Ocampo, nor Ms Suzan Rice, nor even most of the bureaucrats of the I.C.C. have ever heard of what happened in Hitler's K.L./K.Z. (Konzentrationslager) and elsewhere in Europe between 1933 and 1945!

But maybe there is another explanation of Ocampo's behavior: suppose that he were quite aware of the crime being committed in Libya, and that he would try to attract the world's attention on that, making himself quite ridiculous with the story of "crimes against humanity in Libya" in order to show the world how ridiculous and insane this aggression is, given the fact that the ICC cannot do anything without the sponsoring of the UN-Syndicate...

In that case, I would have to apologize to Mr Moreno-Ocampo...

By the way, what do the main Jewish organizations which mostly consider themselves as “owners” of the label “crime against humanity” think of its coarse misuse by Moreno-Ocampo in Libya?

Like Israel or the United States of America Libya doesn't belong to the treaty that founded the International Criminal Court.

By the way, let me explain the very reasons for those freezing experiments conducted by the Nazis in concentration camps. The story begins with the sinking of the Titanic (April 15th, 1912) in which about 1500 people died in the  Northern Atlantic after the boat hit an iceberg. The disaster greatly impressed a lot of people all over the world, and particularly some German biologists who would later belong to the Nazi-regime, and who would be obsessed by the development of an antidote in order to increase the resistance of seafarers in the event of a shipwreck in icy water. This explains the use of a drug (Dextropur) administered at different doses. The human Guinea pigs were immersed in icy water after being treated with the antidote, and then regularly pulled out of the water, being heated by using special lamps, and again... The real efficiency of the research is unknown. The fact is that the "Nazi-doctors" were not short of "Guinea Pigs"!
